  • Assemble at KLIA for flight to Tel Aviv by Cathay Pacific airlines.

Day 2    Tel Aviv - Bethlehem                                                                                                            [Lunch, Dinner] FLIGHT : CX675   Hong Kong/Tel Aviv  0100 / 0700 

  • Arrive Tel Aviv Airport. Proceed to Shiloh, in the heartland of biblical Israel, walking in the footsteps of the Israelites who gathered here to set up the Tabernacle (Joshua 18:1)- its first home in the Holy Land.
  • Bethel, ancient city of Palestine, located just north of Jerusalem
  • Proceed to Jericho, the most ancient city in the world. Stop at Zacheus' Sycamore for a view of Mount Temptation.
  • From there we drive through the Judean desert heading Here we view Cave # 4, which contained the greatest quantity of Dead Sea scrolls.
  • We take some time to float in the Dead Sea (at minus 1390 feet, as low as you're ever likely to get).
  • Overnight in Bethlehem

Day 3    Bethlehem                                                                            [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

  • Proceed to Mount of Olives. We then follow the traditional Palm Sunday route to the church known as Dominus Flevit ("the Lord weeps"). After viewing the Golden Gate, we walk downhill to Gethsemane, where we take time to meditate on the Gospel text.
  • Then we drive to Zion: visiting the Cenacle.
  • We drive south to the region of Bethlehem passing by Rachel's Tomb on the outskirts of the city. Continue into Bethlehem itself, walking through the restored old town to the Church of the Nativity and visiting the manger and see the cave of St. Jerome
  • Overnight in Bethlehem

 

 

 

Day 4    Bethlehem – Jerusalem                                                         [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

  • Today tour begins by visiting holy Western Wall – “Kotel”, Judaism’s holiest site.
  • There after visit the Temple Mount, many sites in Jerusalem the Temple Mount is sacred to Jews, Muslims and Christians.
  • Ascend to the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site of Islam, located on the traditional site of the ancient Temple Mount.
  • Enter into the Old City through Saint Stephen’s gate and arrive at the Pools of Bethesda. The pool dates back to the 2nd century BCE and it was here that Jesus cured a sick man. Beside the pool stands the St. Ann’s Crusader Church, the brith place of Mary’s mother.
  • Then walk the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) following in Jesus’ footsteps passing the Stations of the Cross and end with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus is believed to have been crucified. This is in fact, a complex of various chapels built on what was called the Hill of Golgoptha.
  • On to the Garden Tomb, an ancient Jewish sepulcher which matches the New Testament description of the tomb in which Jesus was buried. Protestants sanctify this place as the possible burial place of Jesus.
  • The City of David, is an Israeli settlement and the archaeological site which is speculated to compose the original urban core of ancient Jerusalem. 
  • Overnight in Bethlehem

Day 5    Jerusalem/Nazareth                                                                    [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

  • Stop at Caesarea Maritima, the ancient harbor, to explore this Roman bridgehead to the East, which became the Christian springboard to the West.
  • Megiddo, is known for its historical, geographical, and theological importance, especially under its Greek name Armageddon.
  • Arrive Haifa, northern Israeli port city built in tiers extending from the Mediterranean up the north slope of Mount Carmel
  • Ascend to Mount Tabor, which is believed to be the place of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, where Jesus began to radiate light and conversed with Moses and Elijah.
  • Overnight in Nazareth

Day 6    Nazareth                                                                                   [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

  • After breakfast, drive to the Golan Height – visit Caesarea Phillipi , one of the largest springs feeding the Jordan River.
  • Make a visit to Cana. The church where the Jesus performed His first miracle of turned water into wine.
  • Taking a boat ride on the calm waters of the Sea of Galilee, the same area which Jesus walked, sailing on boat similar to one that used by Peter.
  • On to Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus gave his famous Sermon on the Mount. North of the Sea of Galilee, atop the Beatitudes Mount, lays a beautiful church where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the northern part of Sea of Galilee.
  • Visit Capernaum; a 2nd century synagogue was discovered which threw light on the life of the community of that era. Jesus served here as a local rabbi and performed miracles. The traditional house of Saint Peter is also located here.
  • Next we will go to Tagha , visiting The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes , the traditional site of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the third resurrection appearance of Jesus.
  • Visiting the Church of Annunciation in Nazareth the boyhood home of Jesus, where Mary was first informed about her pregnancy with Jesus.
  • Overnight in Nazareth

Day 7    Tiberias - Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport                                                                               [Breakfast] FLIGHT : CX676 Tel Aviv/Hong Kong  1245  / 0515+1  

  • Transfer out to Ben Gurion Airport for flight departure to Kuala Lumpur via stopover Hong Kong.
