DAY 01 KUALA LUMPUR - SIEM REAP – CAMBODIAN CULTURE VILLAGE - CITY TOUR (Lunch, Dinner)
After you arriving at Siem Reap airport, you will welcome by our guide and driver then we visit the 19th century temple of Wat Bo, one of the most important pagodas in Siem Reap. Dating from the 19th century, the interior of the main temple includes some of the finest religious murals in Cambodia, depicting the life of the Buddha. We continue to the Chantiers Ecole workshop of Artisans d'Angkor, a handicrafts cooperative helping to revive the artisan skills of the Angkor era. We learn about different techniques, including laquerware, stone carving and silk painting and visit the impressive showroom. Next, in the center, hundreds of people streamed in and out of a small alcove where stately brass and bronze statues of Preah AngChek and Ang Chom stood. These sister deities, believed to have been Angkorean princesses, originally stood in the gallery of One Thousand Buddhas at Angkor Wat, however successive generations of monks moved them repeatedly to keep their whereabouts secret from invaders and treasure hunters, until they were finally enshrined in their current location in 1990. Lunch at local restaurant. Check in hotel for refreshment. This afternoon, we enjoy do shopping around old market. Then, visiting at The Cambodian Culture Village. This is one of the best performances of Khmer culture in Cambodian. In Cambodian, both Khmer, ethnic and Chinese cultural shows are presented in different beautifullydecorated villages and there are also various dance shows. DAY 02 SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM - ANGKOR WAT - TA PROHM (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
08:00am - in the morning, Pick up from your hotel. We visit the immense walled city of Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire. Then we begin our visit at the Terrace of the Leper King. This intricately carved platform was the royal crematorium and the statue that was originally thought to be the leper king is now believed to be Yama, the god of death. We continue along the Terrace of Elephants,. At the southern end lies the Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the reign of Uditayavarman in the 11th century. Our climax is the enigmatic and enchanting temple of the Bayon. Lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon, we journey out to the jungle temple Ta Prohm where Tomb Raider was filmed. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Then, we continue to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this is most famous temple at Angkor. And view sun set at Bakheng Mountain. Remark: Due to authority set new rule Bakheng Hill allow only 300tourists claim up each time so normally we need to be there around 04:00PM. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 03 SIEM REAP – CITY TOUR (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
08:30am - this morning, we will go to visit the Silk Farm in Puk District (18 Km from town) where can see the whole process of making silk from the center. Lunch at local restaurant. We will start to visit Wat Thmey then, Continue visit War Memorial Monument. We travel to the Western Baray, the largest reservoir constructed during the Khmer Empire. Stretching an incredible 8km in length and 2km in width, this was a key element of the advanced hydraulic system that ensured the ancient Khmers mastered the seasonal cycle of water. It provided irrigation for the surrounding land, providing multiple rice harvests to feed a burgeoning population. We travel to a small island at the centre of the baray where we visit the ruin of Western Mebon temple from the 11th century. This was the location where the giant reclining bronze Vishnu in the National Museum in Phnom Penh was found. Visit Road 60 Meters which is the popular market for local people. Dinner with apsara dance show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 04 SIEM REAP – BOAT TRIP TONLE SAP – KUALA LUMPUR (Breakfast, Lunch)
08:30am - in the morning, you will visit at Floating Village (Tonle Sap). The Tonle Sap Lake, fed by the mighty Menkong and the Tonle Sap River, is a vast expanse of water that forms the most significant topographical feature in Cambodia. Lunch at local restaurant. Next transfer you to the Siem Reap International airport depicturing your next destination.
